We lose a great one
California Department of Fish & Game Commissioner Bob Hattoy has died at 56 years young. He was a vibrant spirit and a brilliant, outspoken advocate for the meek. Though his death comes at the wrong time, his life came at just the right time. I last saw Bob at the Fish & Game meeting on MLPA's in Monterey, and my last words to him were, "Thank you for your uncommon integrity, I want you to know how much it is appreciated". He requested his ashes be preserved in a martini glass.
Thank you, Mr. Hattoy.
