'Mayhem in Mafia Bay'~

But Mayor Peters wasn't listening this time. This was the third year in a row I protested her involvement at the Winter Bird festival, and she was sick of it.
Here it was, January 14th and the birders were streaming in from everywhere, and what is the first thing they all see? Little Joseph, the 'envion- meddle-ist', and he's, ya know, meddle-in.
Signs everywhere, telling all about how Morro Bay sided with the anti- endangered species act Pacific Legal Foundation to de-list the Snowy Plover. And the Plover is the poster child for the Winter Bird Festival! And the mayor is head of staff for the Winter Bird festival. And she's on the Board of the 'Economic Vitality Corporation', along with the gravel folks, who use beach sand to make cement, and so are at the fore-front of the efforts to condemn Snowy Plovers to oblivion! Talk about strange bedfellows.
So, this time, Mayor mobster has a little surprise for Little Joseph- and here he comes now- Hanky-the-Bull!
Hanky the Bull: "Hey joey, dey tole me youze wuh gonna be heah, and I gots to break sumtin' or you could leave, uh-rite?"
Little Joseph: "Aw, Hank, all I wuz sayin' wuz the Mayor was the only vote against a faster timeline to clean up sewage from Morro bay's WAIVER, and the deciding vote to let the power plant keep wreckin' da Joint for anudda 50 yeahs." "Dats all, uh-rite?".
And BAM! The goon smashes a little tape recorder into my nose.
9-1-1, heah come da cops and alladat.
But do I press charges? No. I'm Italian. And Hanky-the-Bull is a Police Employee too, and I support doze Police heah. So I let it go.
