A Thousand Letters to Fish & Game Commission!
Thanks to the great volunteers at Casa Beach in La Jolla, a thousand letters will be delivered to the Fish & Game Commissioners in Monterey, California tomorrow (5-8-08). These letters ask that a Marine Protected Area- specifically, a State Marine Reserve- be designated at Casa Beach in La Jolla, where the beach is used by a Harbor Seal colony for birthing, and by thousands of members of the public for seal-viewing and the educational experience it provides!
